Coding Stars: Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Coding Stars, we strive to ensure satisfaction with our coding and AI programs. Our refund and cancellation policy covers 30 days from your initial purchase or enrollment date. If this 30-day period has elapsed, we may not be able to offer a full refund or a direct course transfer.
Eligibility for Refund/Cancellation
To be eligible for a refund or cancellation, your request must be submitted within the specified 30-day window and meet specific criteria:
The program enrollment must be for a future start date.
No lessons or digital course materials associated with the enrollment have been accessed or attended.
Certain purchases are generally not eligible for a refund:
Gift vouchers or gift cards once activated.
Access to downloadable software products or online learning platforms once credentials have been provided.
Portions of a course that have already commenced or been attended.
To process your request, we require a valid receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to process a refund or return through any third-party payment providers without contacting us first.
Partial Refunds
In specific circumstances, only a partial refund may be granted:
If a student withdraws from a program after the 30-day eligibility period but before completing 25% of the course.
If lessons or course components have been partially accessed, used, or attended.
For any enrollment not in its original state (e.g., a significant portion of the course completed, resources downloaded), or where components are missing due to reasons not attributable to our error.
Any cancellation request made more than 30 days after the initial purchase but before the course’s scheduled start date.
Refund Process
Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will send an email confirmation acknowledging receipt. We will then notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request after a review.
If your refund is approved, processing will commence, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment (credit card or other), typically within a specific number of business days.
Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please first check your bank account or credit card statement again. Then, contact your credit card company, as there may be a delay before the refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as processing times can vary. If, after these steps, you still have not received your refund, please contact us directly at info@codingstars.co.uk.
Discounted Programs
Please note that only programs purchased at their regular listed price are eligible for refunds. Enrollments made during a sale, promotion, or at a discounted rate are typically non-refundable.
Course Transfers or Credits
We may offer transfers to an alternative course or provide credit for future programs if an item proves to be defective or if a scheduled lesson is cancelled by Coding Stars. If you require a transfer or credit due to an issue with our service, please contact us at info@codingstars.co.uk.
Gift Purchases
If an enrollment was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and directly provided to you, you will receive a credit for the value of the cancellation. Once the cancellation is processed, a gift certificate or credit will be issued. If the enrollment was not marked as a gift, or the gift giver received the enrollment to give to you later, the refund will be issued to the gift giver, who will be informed of the cancellation.
